Book early
December dates go first, especially Thursdays and Fridays in the first three weeks. Once a caterer's diary is full, it's full. If you know your date, book it, then confirm numbers later.
Three formats that work
A festive buffet. The Christmas Festive Table (£25.00 per person plus VAT) brings festive sandwiches, pigs in blankets and mince pies on platters, from 30 guests. It's easy, relaxed and good for parties in the office.
A carvery. The Christmas Carvery (£50.00 per person plus VAT) is turkey and honey-glazed gammon with all the trimmings, carved for your team, from 50 guests. It feels like a proper Christmas dinner.
Canapés and drinks. For an evening do, start with canapés and add something more filling later in the night.
See all the options on our Christmas catering page.
Numbers and dietary needs
Send a short form to your team with the invitation: are they coming, and any dietary needs. Every festive menu has vegetarian and vegan options, and we adapt dishes for allergies.
Timings
Lunchtime parties early in the week are easier to book. For evening parties, plan food within the first hour so people aren't drinking on an empty stomach.
Paying
Business invoices are fine. Marco confirms the deposit and payment terms with your quote. December bookings carry a seasonal charge, which the planner includes in your estimate.
Get your date in the diary first. You can confirm final numbers nearer the time.
